PayForNoReason.com is a novelty website. By making a payment you acknowledge that you are voluntarily transferring money with no expectation of receiving any product, service, reward, or return of any kind. This is intentional and is the entire point of the site.
All payments are final and non-refundable. Because there is no product or service being exchanged, there is nothing to refund. By completing a payment you confirm that you understand this and agree to it.
If you believe a payment was made in error or without your authorisation, please contact your bank or card issuer directly, or reach out to us at hi@payfornoreason.com and we'll do our best to help.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Adding your name or handle to the public leaderboard is entirely optional. You will be asked at checkout. If you choose to appear, your display name and payment amount will be shown publicly on the site. You can request removal at any time by emailing hi@payfornoreason.com.
The site is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or the continued existence of the site. The $1,000,000 goal is a personal challenge and not a contractual commitment of any kind.
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last changed.

We collect only what's needed to process your payment and, if you opt in, display your name on the leaderboard. This includes:
Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Leaderboard name — only if you choose to provide one at checkout. This is stored to display on the site.
Basic analytics — we may use standard tools (such as page view counters) to understand how many people visit the site. No personal data is tied to this.
We don't collect your email address unless you contact us directly. We don't run advertising. We don't use tracking pixels or sell data to third parties. We don't want any of that.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you make a payment, Stripe collects and processes your payment information under their own Privacy Policy.
We don't use tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies as part of the payment process — these are governed by Stripe's policy, not ours.
If you've appeared on the leaderboard and want your name removed, email hi@payfornoreason.com and we'll remove it promptly. If you're in the EU or EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, and deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Same email, same response.
Leaderboard names are kept for as long as the site is live, or until you ask us to remove yours. We don't retain any other personal data.
If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of the page. We won't change it in ways that affect you without making it obvious.
